A LinkedIn update flagged the departure of a co-founder and creative leader at one of Embracer's THQ Nordic studios, the kind of exit that can precede a canceled project or a studio closure. Before reaching for that conclusion, we analyzed the studio's earlier job postings, the specific roles, skills, and portfolio requirements being hired, and the timing of the recruitment, to work out what the studio is actually building, what stage its unannounced game has reached, and what the founder's exit does and does not signal.
